This is a superb hiking area, with walks to suit all fitness abilities
and several walking festivals every year.
The Mournes are unique in that they have 12 peaks within a seven mile
radius.
Slieve Donard is the highest at 2,796ft (850m).
You are in the heart of the Mountains of Mournes with walks for all levels. We can provide you with a set of walking cards (on loan) and information on the Mournes. Packed lunches can be provided. You can borrow flasks and bags for your expedition. Details of the daily weather will be on the notice board each day. We have a large drying room for your wet gear.
