The cnocnafeola restaurant is managed by Mairead, a Home economics teacher. She has also worked as an advisor with Bord Iascaigh Mhara, and has attended courses recently in Ballymaloe Cookery school, Co Cork.

The restaurant serves good quality home cooked food, using local produce and has recently added a host of specialised sausages and meat to our menu form a local manufacturing business. All menus are tailored to your needs, with particular emphasis on low fat meals and special diets, with a vegetarian option always available.

We have a range of fresh herbs available in out garden. Advance bookings are essential, and we currently cater for groups at the moment. You can bring your own wine, there is a small corkage charge in place.

Please contact us to discuss your menu and particularly if you have any special dietary requirements for example, low fat or vegetarian or caoeliac.  The kitchen is open plan.  To-date we have received excellent feed back on our food, some of the comments to include:
